Chris is a Master Herbalist with over 20 years of experience in her field. She shares the responsibility of owning and running the shop with her multi-faceted husband Roger who is best knownfor being commissioned to photograph the British Royal Family. Together, they enjoy the short drive from home to Lorien in their environmentally responsible Zenn Electric Car, which has gained its share of press.

Interestingly the name "Lorien" is taken from The Lord of the Rings trilogy and translates into a "place for good food" in J.R.R. Tolkien's Elfen language. However, good food is just one of the many wonderful aspects you'll find when you visit Lorien Herbs & Natural Foods. The shop is located in the memorable Windmill which is listed on the National Registry and is by far the most recognizable landmark in the South Perry Village.
